11 years

On March 8, 1999 around 3:30pm, Jonathan asked me to be his girlfriend. I agreed and 11 years later here we are. We have been through so much together and I'm so lucky to have him all to myself! We starting "going out" with I was a Freshman and he was a Sophmore. Our relationship has had its ups and downs but I'm so happy that we are still together. He is my love, my lobster, my life.

Happy 11 years Hunny!

March 6, 2010- At Disneyland

Our tradition has been a trip to Disneyland to celebrate our yearly anniversary and this year was no exception. We decided to go just for Saturday and then go to the Saugus Swap Meet on Sunday (I've always wanted to go).

Disneyland was amazing (as usual) even though it rained. The rain didn't come until 5:30pm which gave us plenty of "magical" time. We rode rides, people watched, and just had an amazing time being together. The swap meet was great and I had an amazing time and even found some great deals (no pictures of that).

I actually got him to go into the Tiki Room!

I told him to be "scared" for the picture since we were at the Haunted Mansion and this is what he did lol

To do list. Check.

One year can go by so fast! One year ago I decided to do a list of 100 things to do in 365 days! I started out ready to accomplish every single thing that I put on it. Needless to say, I failed at completing the entire list, but I feel like I accomplished a lot. Obviously I would have loved to complete it all, but life happened and it just didn't work out! I just feel happy that I accomplished something and I want to try it again! I have added a few new things and I am repeating goals that I did not accomplish the first time around. So below is my completed list and I will post the new list soon!

So here is my list: 100 things to do in 365 days

Heart Day

I hope everybody had a wonderful heart day! I have to say that I do not really celebrate this holiday. I believe that you should show your love every single day of the year, not just reserve it all in one day. Although, I still like getting the presents haha.

My day consisted of:
♥ Playing with babies in the nursery.
♥ Cleaning the house
♥ Spending a little quality time with my hubby
♥ Watching Donnie Darko, Zombieland, and playing Little Big Planet with these awesome people:

Apparently that is the only picture I have of the four of us.

Overall it was a good day. Now for 364 more days of love! <3

Stomp!

For Christmas my mother gave my whole family and my cousin Kim tickets to go see "Stomp" at the Pantages in Hollywood! I was excited to spend the day with my family. I love it when we all get together. Family time is very important to me. =)

First we went to Kabuki Japanese restaurant in Hollywood. That place is delicious!

Yummy!

Alex bet Dad $50 that he wouldn't eat the ball of Wasabi. He did. =)

Photobucket
Then Dad gave Alex the chance to relieve his debt if Alex did the same. After a lot of pressure from us he did!

Photobucket
Kim and I sharing Banana Tempura. It was SO yummy!

After lunch it was time for the play which was amazing! There was all music and little talking. The most impressive part was that they didn't use instruments to make their music. They used things like cans, matchboxes, and their own feet and hands.

After the play we decided to take the subway to Hollywood. We missed the train and had to wait 15 minutes for another one. The joke of the day was to get a picture of Dad with Andrea or just Dad smiling in general, so we tried to do that while we were waiting haha. We also took a lot of pictures so I put them here for your viewing pleasure. lol

There is a lot going on in this picture and I just love it. Andrea is trying to sneak a picture with my dad and is following him, Jonathan is goofing off, and I'm not sure what mom is doing. But I love it.

We ate Dewar's ice cream at Disney Soda Fountain and then headed back on the subway to go home.

It was a wonderful family day that I wouldn't trade for anything! <3

Superbowl

I'm not that big of fan of football, but I couldn't pass up the chance to spend time with family and eat yummy food!

My super bowl consisted of:

Yummy food
Hilarious commercials- "Keep your hands off my mama, Keep your hands off my Doritios!"
Family time
An intense game of Disney: Scene it?

January 2010

Long time no blog! I'm beginning to see a pattern here. =)

January was a month filled with mini adventures and the usual day-to-day life. I spent two weeks subbing, one week sick as a dog, and the last week of the month getting over a neck injury I obtained from coughing so much (and am still recovering from). Needless to say I am looking forward to getting back into my normal work and gym routine since I haven't been able to do that in two weeks!

Here are some more exciting events of the month:

We spent New Years with Erin, Carl, and Carl's family at the bowling alley. I have always enjoyed bowling and it was nice to have plans for New Years for once.
